With an average of 350 days a year of clear and sunny skies, weather rarely interferes with training schedules. In 2013 Grace Transport Inc acquired Brian Pite Freight (BPF), a company with a fleet of owner operators originally based out of Sarnia, Ontario. Since the purchase we have relocated BPF to our home terminal.
The AFTC facility is unlike that of any other flight school. The building is over 10,000 square feet of dedicated training, classroom, briefing areas and aircraft maintenance areas. The main lounge is spacious with comfortable seating and a large TV.

Transportation costs can eat up part of your Las Vegas budget (much less fun than spending it on drinking and gambling), so it’s important to keep an eye out for deals, especially when it comes to getting around in Sin City.
The arrival of rideshare services Uber and Lyft in Las Vegas—use “FSE” when you sign up for Lyft to get free ride credit—has provided a great alternative to more expensive ways of getting where you’re going, but it’s nearly impossible to beat a $2 ride from McCarran International Airport to Fremont Street in the heart of downtown Las Vegas.
That’s right, $2 is the full fare for Westcliff Airport Express, also called the WAX bus.

WAX operates every day of the week, from 5:45 a.m. to 11:15 p.m. on weekdays, 6:30 a.m. to 11:45 p.m. on weekends.
The bus runs just about every half hour, and $2 is the entire cost of the ride. No, that’s not a typo!
Riders can get tickets at the various bus stops downtown, at the airport or in limited locations on The Strip. At the airport, the stops are on the bottom level of the airport (called Level Zero). You can also get a ticket once you’re onboard the bus, but exact change is needed.
Insider tip: Sometimes, the $2 isn’t offered on the kiosks (see photo below), so ask for it once you’ve boarded the bus. Again, it has to be cash and exact change. You should always carry singles in Vegas, anyway, because tips are what grease the gears in this town!
There are several stops along the way, but the Casino Center at Fremont Street stop puts you right in the heart of the action at Fremont Street Experience. You’ll be dropped off at the intersection of iconic downtown hotels like Binion’s, Golden Nugget and Fremont.
Get all the schedule and route details about how to get from McCarran airport to downtown Las Vegas for $2 at the official site of the Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada. Save some bucks and get your Las Vegas visit off to a great start.
